2-alarm fire burns building in Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A fire burned a building on Abby Street and Grant Avenue in Central Fresno.

The Fresno Fire Department said it was a two-alarm commercial fire. Officials say the large building previously burned about three months ago.

Another business and two homes were threatened by the fire, but crews were able to contain the fire to the single structure.

Firefighters said the initial report was the fire started by fireworks, but the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
